Justin's Story 3

Hi All

Justin (and Jenny!!) saw the new Oncologist yesterday. They feel much better with this new doctor who explained more or less what stage they were at as there are still no final biopsy results. He has asked for all the biopsy samples to be sent to him so that he can personally see the tissue – a very thorough, wise and knowledgeable doctor. He went on to explain that there would be a 6 month treatment of Chemo every second week. He will do this on a Thursday, so that Fridays can be a rest day and he should be good for work on a Monday again.

He has discussed the side effects but says that as Justin is young and healthy, these would probably be less severe and the chances for full remission are very good as there is a lot known about this disease. We pray that he is one of those who fall in the 85% category of full remission.

Now that there is a plan, they are able to feel that there is a direction ahead and can re-organize their lives. This has been the really tough part of this challenge in not knowing what was ahead.

I ask you to continue to pray daily at 6:30pm (put a reminder in your phone!!), and for all who can come, we will probably meet next Tuesday or Wednesday to pray again.

Justin and Jenny are totally bowled over by the extreme support they have had and thank each of you for this.

They still need your encouragement and scriptures.

Love

Denis, Cilla, Kim, Dean and Nicky

Dear Justin and dear Marsh family,
thanks for keeping us updated. I think it is great news to have such a talented and caring doctor.Justin keep your chin up. It will be tough to go through all the examinations and especially the waiting period does it not make easier. God has designed his way for you in a good way, he will not leave you alone. A friend of mine had the same disease and fully recovered, just like you will. The recovery-rate is very high and you will pass all the tests of God, even though it might be difficult to understand them at this moment. In such a situation priorities are shifting and make us understand, what is really important in our world.
I include you in my prayers every night. God bless you and the March family.

    Philipp
